What an incredibly scary time for parents everywhere. However, what I do find most terrifying at times is how some parents are behaving in the U.S..

I've watched some horrifying videos of parents threatening teachers and parents who support mask wearing mandates. They are getting violent. Furthermore, besides endangering the lives of their children, they're also setting a terrible example.

I have a toddler and fortunately I haven't had to deal with some of the challenges parents of older children have faced. I also don't live in the U.S., and my kid's day-care in Spain has taken several measures to keep everyone safe. But, parents have been asked to respect social distancing and not enter the school premises. No one has complained, because, keeping our kids safe matters most.

I feel for all the parents trying to protect their kids. Including those who are acting from a place of ignorance and fear.
