Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I'm so sorry members of La Leche were unkind toward you, especially in a moment when you needed support the most.

I agree with you a hundred percent. As a mom, you have to do what feels right for you and your family.

I strongly believe that breastfeeding should be an enjoyable experience, and if a woman is not enjoying it or is going through excruciating pain, she should not feel like she has to continue.

What I wanted to get across is that moms need support. Many don't get the support they deserve, regardless of their situation.

I think more mothers would be more likely to breastfeed if they had more information, professional support, and maternity leave. However, at the end of the day, each experience is unique.

Being a mom is hard enough without all the shaming and criticism for every choice we make. As moms, we should listen to each other with compassion and kindness.
