As a feminist, I often argue that men are not the enemy. That it's not a movement against them.
At the same time, I've been in enough situations where a man made me feel uncomfortable with his advances or comments. Whether it was someone in a work environment or a stranger catcalling me on the street, I too, mistrust men.
I'm also married to a wonderful man, whom I love and admire. But that doesn't change the fact that some men have tried to intimidate me.
As women we're also taught to repress our anger, it's not a feminine trait. But, I agree that anger can be constructive.
