Loving Yourself Is Revolutionary
Businesses capitalize on women’s low self-esteem.

“A culture fixated on female thinness is not an obsession about female beauty, but an obsession about female obedience. Dieting is the most potent political sedative in women’s history; a quietly mad population is a tractable one.”
― Naomi Wolf, The Beauty Myth
In a world that undermines women, ignores them, erases them: be true to yourself.
In a society that scrutinizes women’s bodies and choices, the most revolutionary thing you can do is:
Love yourself.
Embrace yourself.
Honor yourself.
You are unique: your curves, your skin color, your style, your hair, your heritage are yours, and yours alone. No one has the right to make you feel ashamed of who you are.
As a woman, I can be strong and sensitive. I can be intelligent, funny, ambitious, humble, hardworking, and much more. The limitations set by other people are exactly that, their limitations. Do not force yourself to fit into an unrealistic and demeaning mold.
The biggest action you can take against the patriarchy is to love yourself just as you are. Follow your path, even if no one thinks you can walk alone.
